Santa Barbara Library
Santa Barbara has many things to offer its locals and visitors alike. Whether you are a student in need of something specific, or you just want to find a good read, the Santa Barbara Library is the place to go. Ian Filippini enjoys visiting the library because it is a peaceful place to go and relax while finding his next great read.
The Santa Barbara Library is centrally located in the heart of downtown at 40 East Anapamu Street. They can be reached by phone at 962-7653 and they are open from 10am-7pm on weekdays, and 10am-5:30pm on the weekends. The service desk is open during the same hours that the library is open.
Ian loves that there is always someone available if he needs a good book recommendation. Of course there is an extensive digital catalog where you can search for topics and subjects and genres that interest you, as well as searching for specific titles or authors. Going digital has really made trips to the library even more enjoyable than before!
A special part of the Santa Barbara Library that Mr. Filippini likes is that they have all kinds of events for everyone in the family all month. There are special classes and story times for school aged children, as well as movement and music classes for babies and toddlers. There are also multiple cultural events for adults at any given time during the month.
